:-) love this article. Thank you for always sharing from the heart Gary!
I am currently exploring the gnostic writings and their view of what is 'really' going on, and it is fascinating. They certainly agree that this is 'hell'!
As much as I love nature, the gnostics believe that even nature is 'fallen' - in the sense of, also suffering in this pit of insanity. In a sense we are apparently all trapped - all of nature, all of humanity. Each of our lives is scripted for maximum pain and suffering (yup, like a code like in the Matrix movie. Our minds are implanted with a parasite (the reptilian brain?) that keeps us in a state of insanity (try following your thoughts! :-D ) as well as guilt and regret. All lovely 'loosh' as energy for the force/s behind this mess! And then we get recycled back in a reincarnation loop to repeat it all again.
And I agree - there's no point in engaging christians on this. They 'got' people with the christian message of 'only the bible and the bible only', good and proper! A very smart trick that makes it impossible for them to look at any other writings, for any other interpretation of things. Then they spend their lives trying to manipulate the bible into some form of sense, cross-referencing and doing mental gymnastics to try explain the insane 'god' of the old testament. I know - I was one of them.
Apparently, the way out is NOT through a saviour. But it is possible, and can be done. That's what I'm focusing on; methinks time may be short. Not in terms of 'end of the world' stuff, just the plans 'they' have to make the trap even tighter.
There's a lovely concept in the gnostic teachings (as an aside), that talks about our innate desire for connection and love - particularly the search for our 'soulmate' or ideal life partner. According to this, our drive to partner is really the soul's yearning to reunite with our 'divine spark' (not specifically a gnostic term, but definitely a concept).
I've found this very useful to explain my own (so far useless!) search for a life partner. It hasn't taken aware the desire completely (yet?), but has definitely driven me to a more spiritual path - and taken a lot of pressure off me! I dunno, maybe it's an excuse haha! but it does make a lot of sense to me. Particularly when I manage to connect deep inside to that inner 'Self' or whatever... there is a depth and beauty there, that I've never experienced elsewhere.
What is attempting to replicate The Script of nature, Earth, the skies for its own ends?
What do we do when animals loose their territory from the plunder of resources?
They get put in a make believe environment that mimics the wild and are supposed to be happy and get on with living, eating, procreating.
If Nature requires two sexes of complex organisms to create, if you couldn't create only replicate or clone would you dislike the owner of something that could bring forth a spark of infinity? Would you seek a space where that vessel was scorned, seen as second class, enslaved by the very act of bringing in life?
All of the smoke & mirrors suggests to me that maybe just maybe the walls of the zoo are cracking as smaller ones are being built and the inhabitants are starting to smell fresh air.
I always enjoy reading your work and one day when I have time I will take a look at the YT videos too BUT as an Irish woman I cannot agree with your take on Cromwell. For us, he was the Hitler of his time. The destruction left in his wake is still remembered especially by the people of We Ford. You are aware enough to know that what us happening today has always been happening, this fight between Good and Evil, so please remember, all of these people, (Hitler, Cromwell, James I (VI), Bush, et Al ad infinitum) all of them, were chosen for the terrible damage they do to humanity at large. For you to pick and choose because of some boyhood memory is foolish and naive. I meant to say this on your last piece when you suggested that Cromwell was an innocent seduced by date. Otherwise, I enjoy your posts and agree with your philosophy
I expected someone to pull me up on Cromwell so not surprised. However, in my defense, in my post on Cromwell, I was talking about the fictional character the movie portrayed and was picked up on by a 10 year old boy at the time. I had hoped that was clear but maybe not clear enough. That movie portrayed two historical characters in a work of fiction that seemed to me to ask questions regarding fate..... I imagine it had the same effect on me that say Braveheart did on many kids a couple or so decades later. Another work of fiction when you dig into the history.
Who or what Cromwell was is seen differently by each of us depending on viewpoint based upon what we have been taught about him. The real Cromwell is unknown to all of us and will always be unknown to us. History is always written with a narrative in mind and my point about him being cancelled is explained below..... I wasn't defending him - just using him as a historical example likely because it was still fresh in my mind that I had recently written about the movie.
Sorry if my choice of historical figure upset you. I could have chosen anyone really - yet I think what was in my mind was how he was buried as a King with pomp and ceremony and yet just a few years later, his corpse was hung, beheaded and his skull left on a pike. He was cancelled.
Anyway - enough of Cromwell..... thanks so much for your reply and following my musings...
It's a lousy script though, by any standards, I mean a three year old could punch whole holes into it by just asking a question starting witth the word: Why? So what to do? Walk away and leave the cave, let 'em have it, those that want it. It is too superficial to stand for long when you are connected. The script writers though seem to be on psych ward drugs, they're long gone so they are definitely nothing to either spend time on or look at, just a waste of space and time altogether is my view. We know all has been inverted and perverted, and those shown to us on screens pushed by a gazillion dollar, pounds, euros industries usually are inverted, mocking, laughing at the innocent at heart, t'is their script not divine design, and their script is done poorly to boot! I'm totally enjoying the wonderfully blue coloured sky, t'is amazing, the colour itself is amazing, looks like an ocean up there, the airports are seemingly not open closeby as the excel spreadsheeting has stopped, for now. It's summer where I am, finally, lovely! Grüß Gott!
Jesus is the best part of all of us. Unless we reject it ourself. Its not outside us. Candace Owens has a recent interview about AIPAC. She is a better teacher than I on that subject which as I said before seems to be at the core of all our other world problems we see now. If you follow her you probably saw it but if not it's worth looking for. Its a handful of devils hiding behind every great country's skirts now begging to be ambushed by the righteous before they destroy everything. That seems to be the goal.
How do you control people?
Fill them with fear and hatred.
Only those who truly believe in themselves cannot be controlled… and that’s exactly where I agree with you.
Let’s throw away the smartphones, the YouTube rabbit holes and just go outside.
Look people in the eyes. Listen to the sounds of nature.
Yesterday, lying in the grass at the campsite, I met a turtle.
And she confirmed it for me. 🐢🌿
Lovely!

Yep - I agree entirely with your comments... thanks.

Yes... I know exactly what you mean here...
Thinking about this brings up more questions.

Thanks Phillipa for the food for thought! I wish you a lovely day, Grüß Gott!

Oh and I wrote tomorrows substack earlier this week.... just in case you wonder - synchronicity is a strange thing.

Indeed yes.....
