Thanks for so honest article. When I truly know and accepts myself, I find that I don't need many people around to feel happy. Fewer relationships can lead to deeper connections based on authenticity. Feeling comfortable alone leads to self-confidence and inner peace for rest of the life.
Some of what you are describing here is projection. People only recognise 'faults' in others because they themselves have this 'fault'. I also think Western society has encouraged a sense of entitlement in people.

Yes - I call it mirroring but projection is another word to describe it.
