So little is offered with a promise of so much when those without soul are the ones with power. Soul trading isn't on the stock exchange, it is in boardrooms, institutions, bars, charities and war zones anywhere where the soulless see an opportunity. The value of our source connection is kept well hidden. Many trade it away before they know they have it.

Interesting conversation you've had, may you find what you are looking for, maybe it is right under your nose or where you are, the yearning to share the beauty of life with a kindred soul is a natural state of being, me thinks, a good yearning to have and cherish, it makes for a whole being, the painting is complete when it is not, the journey is the goal, every body has a different journey, some are tougher than others, the world we live in is full of 'stuff', the miserable and the magical, we get to choose wisely if we can, will be going to a funeral of a friend's son, 22, he won't be making anymore choices on earth, may he rest in eternal peace, his name was Karl, a good kid but also a young man with troubles of finding a purpose in life, it's a thing no parent should live through and yet it is their reality to contend with, you are right, life is brutal at times, Grüß Gott!

Oh that is terrible.... the journey is the magical bit and is quite the ride. Nice to have you back from Pirateville.....

I am deeply sorry to hear about Karl. Twenty-two is far too young, and I cannot imagine the pain his parents must be carrying. Your words are a powerful reminder that while we debate love, purpose and choices, life itself remains fragile and precious.

Thank you for bringing perspective...

Dear Willow Tree, thank you. We all hang by a silver thread, life is fickle, life is a gift to be cherished, and then the lights go out too soon for some, my friend is in shock and there are no words to comfort her, there are no words, it is surreal. I wish you a lovely evening, Grüß Gott!

All the dating sites sound terrible! Don't put yourself through those anymore. I saw a good documentary about young Nigerian men in slave labour phone scam work. They pretend to be online women and prostitutes who end up blackmailing teenage lads. Ugh.

Yep - its all a scam these days.

Perhaps the truth lies somewhere in between. Everyone has their own way of loving, their own wounds, priorities and lessons to learn. The challenge is finding someone whose path resonates..

And maybe that is the hardest part of all - finding the kind of love that is truly my own. It sounds simple, but in reality it can be incredibly difficult !
