About 12-years ago, I had a great idea for a novel. It was to be based around several themes
We create our own reality and participate in building a shared reality
The people who run this world know well how to do this by distracting everyone and hijacking their abilities to co-create a reality that they want
That quantum physics and magic are very similar in showing how this may work.
The book started slowly and tortuously and then took off with a life of its own. I called it the Last Observer. It was published by Roundfire books and well, it flopped with only around 500 total sales.
Not to be kept down by sales failure, I then wrote the prequel in which I was trying to communicate the following
Many successful people have sold their souls to be rich and famous
Their controllers are not human and they demand a lot in return for this success, fame and fortune
And so I self published the book a few years later and it was called The Lord of the Elements. This one sold less than 50 copies yet in my opinion, it is better than the original (however, do not read it first - start with The Last Observer).
I had largely forgotten about these two books to be honest until the other night when Sara Mondaini interviewed me for her podcast (- out this Friday I understand). She has bought and was reading the Last Observer and was really enjoying it. For her it seemed to almost predict the last few years of lunacy. And I realised talking with her that in fact it did. And I then realised the prequel did too - Diddy parties and the like shall we say.
It was a good chat but it left me profoundly disturbed.
Had I tapped into the future back in 2012 when I started the project? How had I not seen the parallels myself? After all, as Sara said they were there staring me in the face.
So, here is my invitation to you to check out these two books and see what you think. When the writing took off and seemed to become a semi-automatic process was I writing in a meditative state predicting things to come in analgous ways?
I think in retrospect I was.
our conciousness is a multi dimensional thing and it is suggested that we are part of a group of 6 that can span the timelines so you may well be in the future as well as the past and it is the body that restricts us to this one dimension timeline. If you have more "eyes" in the game then perhaps it is easier to see what is going on.
Very interesting!
I bought both books a while ago and loved them. My only complaints - both too short (your writing is utterly enjoyable); and we need another sequel!!
