A Magical View
Today may be the day. The day when I pick up this little beauty..
And so why would I be surprised that after weeks of top down, speedster weather - it rains!
The weather has gone into an unsettled patch here with rain and storms forecast for the next several days. Mind you - it has been dry and we need the rain. Most of the fields have already been harvested around Brno and the country lanes have been filled with farmers in tractors racing around with their grain.
Mother Nature has decided its time to get balanced up and wet the land a bit it seems.
I’m up early awaked by the thunder but there is no storm to watch - it passed us by already and now it simply rains - a gentle patter of rain and that rising smell of rain on dry hard ground - petrichor. There is magic in that moment when the rains start and the dry Earth gulps the moisture. Over the next few days, plant life will take a sudden surge and become greener. The air will clear of pollens and dust.
When you really stop and watch, think and ponder, its no surprise that our ancestors would deify the weather and nature as these forces are truly magical when you take a moment to observe and to think.
When I say the world is magical it is because this is how I chose to see it. and, once you endow the forces of nature with magical powers, then suddenly magic is everywhere and life becomes magical. It’s an example of choosing to see things in a different way.
I recall talking to Thomas Sheridan and discussing this on one of my podcasts. He told me how when young, he had a good way to go to school and so he and his friend would imagine that they were passing through a magical world from fiction they read. Suddenly, the world was magical for them.
It’s how you choose to see things. It is as simple as that.

Wow! You are so going to enjoy that little yellow bird, phew! Wheels, yuuuhuuu! And even more fun on highways with no speed limit, I'm sure you know where that is, lots of fun to be had, I'm sure you did not buy an electrical one like a friend of mine did back home, senseless to be sure, but for some those beauties are only for cruising, so now you are officially that older man with a sportscar, just taking the mickey out of ya! My mom got a Mustang Cobra, white, for her 60th, she kept it until she was 84, then it was sold as she could not drive anymore, she sometimes saw double while driving, not a good thing..., I wish you a lovely day, Grüß Gott!
Yellow Porsche! Have fun.
My school trips were detective investigations that I had read the night before.
